703rd Bomb Squadron Patch. A-10 Flight Gloves. A-2 Leather Flight Jacket. Aviators Kit Bag.
The A-2 Flight Jacket is made from vegetable tanned Steer-hide leather in Seal Brown linned with 100% plain weave cotton. Dull nickel collar hook with 100% wool tubular woven rib on the cuff and hem. The closure is fitted with Eastmans exclusive chevron Crown zipper. The A-2 comes with a 703rd Bomb Squadron Patch. This squadron had actor Jimmy Stewart as a command pilot in the Second World War. This patch is supplied separately allowing it to be attached if needed. Each jacket is individually hand numbered on the reverse of the wind-flap with a USAAF paint stencil.
The A-10 glove is made from a light Goatskin leather and lined with a fine wool knit and a 100% wool knit on the cuff. These are reproduced to the exact USAAF A-10 spec.
The Aviator Kit Bag is an exact copy of the original WWII USAAF aviators kit bag made from a durable 100% cotton OD canvas. The top fastening consists of two sprung chevron Crown zippers with a closure flap and press-studs. The bag features one main compartment and two internal pockets which are selvaged with 100% cotton HBT taping.
